Mac OS X Server has a whole slew of extra tools and goodies that you can use to exercise extensive control over your system. Unfortunately, it's $499.99 for 10 licenses. If you're like me, you won't even be able to find 10 computers to install it on, unless you make a trip to your local elementary school. However, using some freely available software and a download from Apple's website, you can easily upgrade your bland 10.4.x to 10.4.6 Server.
