Paper Table Lamp, Faux-Wood Veneer - Wal-Mart
There’s a certain amount of kitschy humor at play in a wood veneer paper lampshade (or in the name of this piece), and although we’re not quite sure the designer intended it, we think it works. The chrome-finished steel frame is sufficiently understated, and the piece comes off looking exactly like what you might expect to find at the point where Wal-Mart and modernism meet.
