A new prefab development company 'Living Homes' is being launched shortly - a prototype is being built now in Santa Monica. Designed by Ray Kappe, the house has many features, green roof, FSC certified lumber, radiant floors, solar power. And, unlike most other prefabs on the market, these guys have land so you can actually buy a completed house on a real property, near Joshua Tree, CA.
